IJCOE  Strategic Plan

(Publication Background and Future Roadmap)

The IJCOE journal office was established in 2015, and its first issue was published in 2016. It has been published regularly and continuously since then. From the very beginning, several universities, research institutes, and scientific associations have started their cooperation with this journal through memorandums of understanding, which continue to this day. Currently, other research centers are also in the process of signing cooperation agreements with the journal.

The IJCOE covers a wide range of research in the fields of oceanography & ocean technology, as well as marine industries & marine engineering. The editorial board of IJCOE consists of nearly 130 of the greatest scientists and researchers from over 30 countries worldwide, and the journal's review board comprises 1,000 members from all five continents. The membership and application process for joining the editorial and review boards of this journal is ongoing.

IJCOE is a research-academic quarterly journal that has publication and distribution permissions from the Press Organization and permission to publish scientific-research articles from the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology (MSRT) with an "A" rating. It also holds a "Q1" rating from the ISC institute with an impact factor (IF) of approximately 0.43 and is considered a "core journal" (prestigious and outstanding journals).

IJCOE is an open-access journal and allows the download and receipt of accepted articles in full text for free. It respects and adheres to copyright and COPE regulations. The journal's office operates 24/7, providing services to researchers.

IJCOE's articles are indexed in various national and international scientific databases, including:

DOAJ, ISC, SID, Google Scholar, WEBrate, Research Gate, Science Gate, Researcher Life, jref, Civilica, magiran, Website informer, RICEST, ISSN, and more.

IJCOE accepts, evaluates, and publishes various types of articles, including:

Original Research Papers, Review Articles, Short Communications or Brief Reports, Case Studies, Methodology Papers, Conceptual or Theoretical Papers, Perspective or Opinion Papers, etc.

In addition to publishing a regular quarterly journal, IJCOE has 16 special issues on specific topics in preparation. It also provides conditions for publishing specialized books, references, and handbooks. Moreover, it is ready to cooperate with the secretariats of reputable international conferences to publish their selected and outstanding articles.

IJCOE evaluates, appraises, and publishes books, articles, and the scientific achievements and findings of esteemed researchers and scientists worldwide who are innovating and conducting in-depth research in the "important and strategic field of the maritime technology & Ocean engineering." It welcomes any form of joint cooperation with universities, research institutes, and related research centers at the national, regional, and international levels, and extends a hand for collaboration.

IJCOE plans to officially apply for international indexing and inclusion in prestigious global databases such as ISI and WOB in the coming months. Therefore, it requests the cooperation of esteemed scholars with experience in this regard to assist in this process or to complete and expedite it, expressing utmost gratitude and appreciation.

IJCOE Journal Activities Become 24/7

It is hereby announced to all esteemed researchers and scholars that the IJCOE Journal Secretariat has become operational 24/7. Activities will continue without delay around the clock and all days of the week. Accordingly, since the IJCOE Journal has distinguished and respected readers all over the world, in order to provide convenience for esteemed researchers residing in different countries and to expedite the review and publication of scientific articles, the IJCOE Journal Secretariat decided to increase its efficiency and productivity and also make optimal use of time - regardless of national, international holidays and occasions - to remain active 24 hours a day, all year round, in order to provide appropriate and timely services to researchers and be engaged in scientific publishing without interruption.
